World Read Aloud Day was Wednesday, February 7th. At North, one way we celebrated was by inviting guest authors to share a book tasting of their new novels and their personal journeys to becoming published authors. Fourth and fifth graders met Abby Cooper, author of the new children’s novel True Colors and Shawn Peters, author of the The Unforgettable Logan Foster series virtually during their LRC time. Students had the chance to ask questions of these two amazing authors and meet author Abby Cooper’s writing assistant – her dog Louis!
