Winter Concerts

2nd grade performed at the 6pm concert. Their theme was animals. Students sang and danced with ribbons to the song “Red Bird.” They performed a rondo with the song “Doggie, Doggie, Where’s Your Bone?” Specials group 2A performed rhythmic compositions that they wrote. Class 2C demonstrated the form of “The Aquarium” through movement and props. The song “Tracks in the Snow” was performed on barred instruments by group 2B, and the story was narrated and acted out by other 2nd grade students.  We closed the concert with “If I Were a Reindeer.”

The choir, made of 3rd-5th grade students, performed at the 7pm concert.  They sang “My Favorite Things,” “Shooting Star,” a Moroccan canon called “A Ram Sam Sam,” and a holiday piece called “I Feel Like Fa La La.” Mrs. Connelly was so proud of all of her musicians!
