In December, students in our Transitional Bilingual Education Program and Spanish Language Arts Program performed traditional holiday songs from America and Mexico at our annual Posada. Families of these students were invited to attend.
After the performances, students and families enjoyed traditional treats, including tamales, hot chocolate, and ponche. Thank you, Mrs. Arias, Ms. Gonzalez, Mrs. Chacon, Ms. Garcia, and Mrs. Guerrero for choreographing the performances. Special thanks to United Focus Group member Nancy Taboada, who helped lead the planning and organization of the event. We love hosting this very special annual celebration!
