Do you need to register your child for the 2026-27 school year? Our school offices are closed but will reopen on Monday, August 3. As an option, until then, you may begin the registration process by calling the District 45 Administration Office at (630) 516-7700. If you prefer to register at your child’s school in person, you may do so during Walk-in Registration on Thursday, August 6, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 3-7 p.m.

How do you further engage 5th graders when studying ecosystems and food webs with American Reading Corporation and Mystery Science?! You give them owl pellets to dissect! Fifth graders used their observation and inference skills as they dissected owl pellets to conclude what their owl had for breakfast. Clues within the owl pellets such as types of bones helped students identify if the owl’s prey was a bird, mouse, mole, or shrew.
