Thank you to all the families who joined us for Curriculum Night on September 4th! Parents and guardians had the opportunity to step into their child’s shoes and experience “A Day in the Life” of an elementary student by visiting classrooms and learning about the school day firsthand from their amazing classroom teachers.
Between classroom sessions, families took part in a lively One School, One Book scavenger hunt, organized by our dedicated special area teachers. In the Art Room, families designed their own golden tickets. Over in Music, they danced and moved with scarves and flags to songs inspired by Charlie’s golden ticket adventure. PE offered a high-energy, Willy Wonka-themed obstacle course, complete with a chocolate river, everlasting gobstoppers, and a tunnel challenge to retrieve a golden ticket. In the LRC, families tested their knowledge with candy trivia from around the world. If you haven’t guessed yet, our One School, One Book title is Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl!
We wrapped up the evening with a joyful ice cream social, where families connected, and students enjoyed time with friends on our new playground.
A huge thank you to our amazing North School staff and families for making the evening so special and for continuing to support our vibrant learning community!
