Fourth graders at North visited The Chicago Historical Museum this week! Students loved the experience of traveling to the city to learn about various historical events that impacted our country. Some of the highlights were learning about the 1893’s World Fair, the Great Chicago Fire, the importance of the Chicago River and the many bridges that cross it, and the timeline of music and sports in Chicago. One student exclaimed, “This was the best trip ever. I’ve never been to Chicago, so I was really excited to go!”
