On Saturday, March 16th, North hosted our 2nd annual Saturday Family Field Trip. Families and North School staff members headed to the DuSable Museum of African American History together and spent the morning exploring the museum. A favorite museum exhibit was “The Many Colors of Us” where families were encouraged to engage in interactive, pretend, solo and collaborative play to spark children’s self-awareness and their awareness of others. They returned to school afterward to enjoy a meal together. We look forward to many more family field trips in the future!
