At North School, we have an amazing, dedicated staff that is committed to providing each child with the best education possible.

North Elementary School serves approximately 420 students in kindergarten through fifth grade. The staff’s mission is to provide a rigorous educational program that challenges students and prepares them for the future. Our dynamic learning community is committed to collaborating to ensure high levels of learning for every student. Grade level and building level teams collaborate frequently to review data and plan instruction that is tailored to meet the individual needs of students.

We expect our students at North School to be peaceful, exhibit respect, responsibility and problem solving skills. North School has received Platinum recognition from the the state of Illinois for the implementation of PBIS for the last three year for our work with social emotional learning. In addition to the wonderful learning community at North School, the following clubs and activities are offered: Boys Club, Conservation Club, Chorus, Drumline, Girls Club, K-Kids, Safety Patrol, and Welcome Buddies. North has a fantastic PTA organization that provides academic and social programs that enrich our learning community. I am very fortunate to work with such an amazing staff and families.

Please don’t hesitate to contact the school with any questions you might have about North School or if you would like to take a tour of North School.
